Now that companies are going "global", we have lots of conference calls. Since we are usually dealing with at least 3 time zones (Asia, Europe, and US), it makes for calls at difficult times. Unfortunately, this means that someone has to be up in the middle of the night.
If you notice the time of this post, you will see what I mean. It's almost 1:30AM and I have been on conference calls for almost 4 hours now. I expect this one will end by 2AM, but who knows. At least I don't have another conference call until 8AM tomorrow. Which means I should get about 6 hours of sleep...
Between traveling all over the world and having conference calls at all hours, "going global" has really lost it's luster.
